The new release of XRY introduces a range of new and improved capabilities, with a strong focus on making it faster and easier than ever for examiners and investigators to extract data from mobile devices and apps.
We are happy to announce that XRY Photon now supports automatically extracting data from the widely used messaging app Telegram, including archived chats, calls, locations, pictures and much more. We also added enhancements for extracting Signal and WhatsApp data from Android devices.
In addition to this the power of XRY Photon covers thousands of additional apps with a manual option.
The new version of XRY expands the physical extraction support and decoding for Samsung Galaxy devices with Exynos chipsets S, A & J series by adding 16 models, enabling examiners to access the data on many more of the most popular modern Exynos chip-powered smartphones, even when the device is locked.
We have also added more physical support of devices running Android 8.0 and 8.1 including a new generic profile.
XRY also now offers a full physical extraction support for the newer Spreadtrum chipset used in Nokia 105 (2019 version).
The new XRY also provides enhanced file decoding which will allow examiners to recover even more data than ever before.
