Train the Trainer
Train- the-Trainer is a program where MSAB Technical Trainers instruct and certify eligible customers as temporary instructors to teach an MSAB Certification Course.
Train- the-Trainer, or TtT, is an important product option for our larger customers and for cases where a single customer needs to train more than 24 users within a given calendar year. It provides great value for customers who need to train many internal users but could not financially sustain the number of MSAB Training courses and the travel it would require to do so.
Train-the-Trainer consists of two requirements:
- Successful completion of the underlying course. This course must be the same course they will be approved to teach.
- Successful completion of the Train-the-Trainer Certification course where they will learn how to teach and manage their classroom.
The MSAB Training Department will evaluate these trainers and, through this TtT training and evaluation process, an agency can designate several qualified individuals who are temporary certified instructors. It is very important to ensure that those instructors who are certified and approved to train our courses are doing so to the highest standards. Sub-standard trainers equal sub-standard courses and that ultimately is counterproductive to our efforts, damages our reputation and damages our brand.
Those who pass the TtT course will receive a designated number of certificates that they can issue to their students during a 12 month period. That 12 month period begins upon their successful completion of the TtT Course.
