Digital Forensics Magazine publishes article on drone forensics coauthored by MSAB CEO Joel Bollo and MSAB strategic partner & drone expert David Kovar

The article, featured on the cover of the February 2018 issue, explains how the growing use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) creates new forensic challenges and opportunities for investigators.

The growing use of drones “has brought risks and threats” to law enforcement, defense and security agencies, the article says. “Malicious actors ranging from ISIS to drug cartels to local criminal organizations have also adopted these highly flexible and capable aircraft for their purposes.”
