XRY featured on ITV’s Fraud Squad

XRY was featured in action on UK terrestrial television last night.

The documentary covered the work of the Metropolitan Police, City of London Police, and the Dedicated Card and Payment Crime Unit in tackling financial fraud. This episode followed London detectives as they go after a gang who have stolen and counterfeited thousands of cheques from people, small businesses and charities across Britain.

The series featured XRY being used by officers to help gather vital evidence for a £5.6 million fraud, the largest ever cheque fraud in the UK. Which resulted with the two gang leaders each receiving 9 year jail sentences, after being convicted of  using counterfeit and stolen cheques.
