Q1 2026 Major Release is now available

Breaking Barriers: Inside the MSAB Q1 2026 Release

Investigators are facing a surge in modern mobile devices, each with increasing layers of security and complexity. At the same time, workloads continue to grow, placing greater pressure on teams to access and act on data quickly.

New investigative demands are also emerging. Coast guards and maritime authorities are under increasing pressure to access and act on location-based evidence in scenarios such as human tracking, search and rescue, and border control.

MSAB’s Q1 2026 Release is built to meet these evolving challenges directly. This release focuses on providing tools that expand access to data, enable faster action in the field, and unlock new sources of digital evidence, while also making workflows more seamless and efficient for investigators. From advanced unlocking more access capabilities frontline to first-of-its-kind support for GPS device extraction and decoding, these developments reflect our commitment to equipping investigators with the tools they need to succeed.

Explore the key product highlights below:

XRY Pro 11.4

Native GPU Brute-forcing

Traditionally, GPU-based password recovery required dedicated servers or external rigs, resources most investigators don’t have. Yet many already have powerful GPUs in their own workstations. With Native GPU Brute-Forcing, XRY Pro taps into that power for faster password recovery. No extra hardware. No complex setups.

NVIDIA, AMD, or Intel GPUs are supported. This feature is now available to customers with XRY Pro licenses.

Market-first extraction and decoding support for GPS devices

Digital evidence is no longer limited to mobile devices. In maritime and border operations, critical insights often come from GPS units, yet these have remained largely inaccessible to investigators.

XRY Pro now enables coast guards and maritime authorities to access location-based evidence and strengthen their investigations in human tracking, search and rescue and border control with its extraction and decoding support for GPS devices.

XRY 11.4

Access crypto evidence from apps and RAM

Crypto assets are increasingly used to obscure identity and move funds beyond reach. For investigators, gaining access to this data is critical to prevent loss of evidence and track illicit activity.

XRY now introduces expanded support for crypto applications, enabling extraction and decoding from leading wallets. XRY also searches RAM to uncover crypto-related data such as seeds, wallet and transaction IDs.

Alongside these powerful updates, MSAB introduces usability improvements across its suite that are designed to save time and reduce complexity, whether you work within MSAB or alongside other tools.
