Apply Project VIC grading
Project VIC grading can be done by running the check for known hashes from a database on artifacts in your case, or manually applying the Project VIC grades. To enable manual Project VIC grading, you must define the regional profile in Options.
If case review tracking is enabled, manual grading of an artifact will automatically mark the artifact as reviewed. See Track the case review progress for more information.
Note: If you have selected to group identical files or similar pictures and then choose to grade one of those artifacts, the Project VIC grade is applied to all artifacts within the same group. Any previous grade applied to any of those artifacts will then be overwritten.
Tip: In the Details pane, you can create a filter based on the Examiner-graded property to show only artifacts that have been manually graded.
Prerequisites
-
A Project VIC database must be added in XAMN and a region profile must be set in Options. See Project VIC for more details.
