Upload files to UNIFY
Use the UNIFY File Transfer Assistant to upload extraction data to the UNIFY server.
Tip: If you want to automate your file uploads, see information about the UNIFY File Tool in the UNIFY Installation and Operations Guide.
Note: If your organization are mainly using MSAB Kiosks, MSAB Tablets, and XRY Express, uploads to UNIFY are automated as a part of the workflows your organization are set up to use. In this scenario, no other file transfer tools are required. For more information, see the UNIFY Installation and Operations Guide.
Prerequisites
- The UNIFY File Transfer Assistant must be available on a computer with access to the location where the files to be uploaded are located. In practice, this normally means on the computer where XRY is installed.
Tip: The UNIFY File Transfer Assistant is included in the UNIFY setup available on the MSAB Customer Portal. Download the setup and run the Extract only option. No installation is required.
- Permission to upload files must be set for your user in the UNIFY Management Console.
- You must know the UNIFY server URL.
- To upload files to an existing case, the List case permission must be set for your user for that case.
