As a Digital Forensics Technical Sales Specialist at MSAB, you will be the crucial link between our innovative software and the heroes who use it to protect society. You will provide exceptional product knowledge to support our sales team and customers, ensuring they all have the knowledge, information and understanding to use our technology to their full potential.
The Role
The role is to become a subject matter expert in our core family of products: XRY, XAMN & XEC and be capable of performing most technical demonstrations to customers. A key success factor will be an effective understanding of the capabilities and intricacies of the software suite. Ideally, we are looking for a candidate with a background or understanding of digital forensics specialism from one of our existing market sectors, such as law enforcement, defense, government, or private sector digital forensic labs.
Supporting sales staff for a dedicated region, your primary function is to perform technical product demonstrations for prospective customers. You will work as part of a wider global Technical Sales Team to create informative and persuasive demonstration materials, videos, webinars, whitepapers and attend events to showcase the power of our solutions. Your role is to help nurture customers through the sales funnel, explaining functionality and answering the more technical questions. Down time is skills building time; You will be expected to continually improve your technical knowledge and practical skills to convey that knowledge to team members and customers.
You will be expected to help gather market and product intelligence from the customers and contribute to new feature requests from customer interaction and feedback. Additionally, you will occasionally be expected to help the Professional Services, Training and Marketing Departments by providing additional support where extra resources are required, at customer visits, project support, class delivery, workshops, and conferences globally.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills: Both written and verbal fluency are essential to clearly explain complex concepts and build trust with customers.
- English Language skills: to learn about our products from our global team, it will be essential that you possess a proficient level of English language understanding and capability.
- Technical experience: A full understanding of the customer mindset and operational requirements who seek digital evidence to prove complex cases and understand how.
- Expertise: A willingness to become a subject matter expert in mobile forensics.
- Team player with a can-do attitude: You are collaborative, resourceful, flexible, and always willing to go the extra mile for our customers.
- Self- motivated and self-disciplined: we need someone who can operate in isolation and get the work done without constant supervision. This will be vital to your success in this role.
