Data Extraction Engineer – Mobile Devices

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated C++ developer to work on the challenge of extracting data from mobile phones, tablets, and other portable gadgets such as drones, with a primary focus on Android-based devices. You will be involved in new projects to implement and commercialize groundbreaking capabilities for seizing evidence from mobile devices.

“In the Devices team, we work closely with the security researchers’ team, developing extraction methods for our products. Those methods are often based on our own 0-day vulnerability research. In this role, you will get the chance to work on complex projects to improve the capabilities of our forensics solutions further.”

Our development is primarily on Windows using C++, but you could also work with other programming languages. You will be part of a highly skilled team of 13 engineers and testers.

Must-haves:

• Minimum of 5 years of programming experience.
• Experience in C++ programming.
• Fluent in English.
• Innovative mindset with an ability to think outside the box.

Nice to have:

• Understanding of Android systems and development.
• Experience in embedded software development.
• Experience in Python programming.
• Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Experience with CMake and Git or similar tools.

Personal qualities:

• Willingness to learn and grow.
• Drive and commitment.
• Problem-solving skills with an engineering background.
