ASCLD Annual Symposium

The ASCLD Symposium is an industry-leading conference designed for leaders and managers in the forensic laboratory space. The symposium boasts workshops and plenary talks designed around all aspects of forensic science, but particularly focuses on enhancing leadership and management in a forensic laboratory.

In addition to the workshops and plenary talks, the ASCLD Symposium is a key event for networking and interacting with the leading authorities in forensic laboratory management.

We are thrilled to proclaim that the theme of this year’s symposium is Resilient Leadership. This topic was chosen to reflect the resiliency that all of us as leaders, managers, supervisors, and employees have persevered and served the common good during the worst global pandemic in one hundred years. This was followed by the great resignation, the challenges of remote work, and the worst inflation since the 1980s. Resiliency is indeed a timely topic. The 2023 Symposium will bring us together to commiserate, network, and importantly share best practices to continue to be truly resilient leaders. We will also have a great time; besides the plenary sessions and workshops, we are hosting an awards ceremony, our all-important business meeting, as well as several fun entertainment and networking events!
