Hawaii Competition Winner Announced
MSAB are pleased to announce the winner of the Hawaii 5.0 competition last month was Bob Elder from the Computer and Mobile Phone Forensics Unit of Victoria Police Department, Canada.
Bob who was the lucky recipient of the prize, has been using XRY for the last 3 years and said it was always his 'first go to software' when dealing with cell phone acquisitions. The prize is a trip to Hawaii to celebrate the release of version 5.0 of XRY designed to make life easier for investigators. On being informed of his win Bob said:
"I am very happy to represent your product as the winner of this competition, it makes is easier when it is a product that I use, recommend, believe in, and appreciate the results from. When I recommend a product, I make sure that what I broadcast is accurate, with the XRY product, I am satisfied that what I speak of is correct. MSAB puts out a great product and I appreciate the results that I get from the logical/physical acquisitions while investigating case files."
Bob, who provides advice to Police agencies across Canada will be travelling to Hawaii on an expenses paid five day holiday courtesy of MSAB - to meet and greet the Hawaiian Police Department and hand over a brand new XRY System to them as part of the prize. We will publish full details and photos of the trip in the Autumn.
