An efficient work tool for forensic investigators

Through effective use of our features, XRY can save the forensic investigator a lot of time. For example our praised Phone Guide, the unified Logical/Physical extraction Wizard and the combined Logical and Physical XRY report as well as the free XRY reader and XACT hex viewer.

As an example; using the help file in the extraction wizard you can easily find all information regarding how to best connect to the phone, what data you may retrieve and perhaps more importantly - what you cannot expect to get. Knowing in advance what features are and also are not supported on any particular device is a critical time saver.

Powerful report with free reader

All extractions, Logical or Physical, are saved in a XRY file which remains unaltered – for forensic security. From that file you can create reports as you need them. You can include case data, and case references, choose what data is included in the report or not and then distribute it to other parties involved in the investigation; lawyers, prosecutors or other investigators. We offer a free XRY reader and you can provide this to third parties to allow them to make notes on the report – whilst still maintaining the original forensic integrity of the data. The XRY report and XRY reader are easily copied to a CD, DVD, Blue-Ray or flash memory, in addition the XRY application can export data to Word, Excel and Open office applications.

Training

We also provide high quality training courses to ensure you know how to get the best from your investigations and be able to demonstrate competency in the use of the technology and production of the data. This can be useful to assist in achieving ISO 17025 status for your forensic work.
